Although the hotel might have a facility, you can’t count on it having equipment that works or that is what you need. Get a list of gyms in the area that you can pay for on a daily basis while you are there.

8. Pack clothes to work out in and bring some gear too. You can’t bring all your training gear and accessories with you, but bring what you can so you can have as close to a normal workout as possible.

Of course, bring plenty of your favorite workout clothes too.

9. Use the unfamiliar setting to your advantage. Check out what the gym has to offer and build a special workout routine just for there. You will be surprised that you might actually benefit by exercising in a strange setting because of the different equipment and change in routine.

10. Make recreation part of your agenda. Walking, biking, and hiking are all things that you can do while you are staying away from home.Find out where the best spots are to explore, whether it’s a wilderness preserve or a water recreation area.
